A Brief History

The Mahidol University Council officially endorses the formation of an International Students Degree Program (ISDP) in 1986. For the past three decades, MUIC has been offering world-class college education, producing more than 8,800 alumni who are successful in their respective careers.

General Information

MUIC currently offers 17 undergraduate majors in Arts, Sciences, Communication Arts, Engineering, and Business Administration, along with two master’s degree programs, for approximately 3,000 students.

COURSES

B.Eng (Computer Engineering)

The program embodies the science and technology of design, construction, implementation and maintenance of software and hardware components of modern computing systems and computer controlled equipment.

BBA (Business Administration)

The Business Administration (BA) Division offers four BBA programs:
Business Economics, Finance, International Business and Marketing. The curriculum not only provides students with a solid foundation in their field of study, but also prepares them with the tools to better understand the business environment, its market structures and the strategies necessary to compete in a global business world.

B.Sc. (Food Science)

The students will be stimulated to develop learning and research specialization with strong critical thinking and innovation.. Food Science and Technology students can choose between two options in the third year, a research option and a work integrated education option that allow students to hone their skillss. In the final year, the students can select between two modules; food innovation and design module or culinary science modue.

B.Com.Arts (Media & Communications)

The Media and Communication Program (Media Com) positions students to succeed in today’s disruptive and convergent media environment through the integration of theory and practice. Course work establishes a base of interdisciplinary knowledge combining arts, humanities, communication, and storytelling that ensures a working application of media technology.

B.A (International Relations and Global Affairs)

The Social Science Division’s International Relations and Global Affairs (IRGA) Program is designed to prepare students for a broad range of careers in both the public and private sectors. It provides them with the requisite knowledge for living and working in an increasingly globalized world, and improve their critical thinking skills, problem-solving capabilities and communication arts, and leadership. During the course , students have ample opportunity to engage in applied research.

B.F.A
(Communication Design)

MUIC’s Communication Design Program (CDP) is a studio-based program that combines creative practice with acquisition of theoretical knowledge, as well as a strong background in general education. The coursework stresses hands-on experience, practical and the effective communication of innovative ideas. With an international mindset, students engage in projects that focus on current issues, employing design solutions that factor in sustainability.
