Academics

British System

  • International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), or General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE), or General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O Level)
  • Grade results A*-C on 5 different subjects + transcript
  • General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A Level) with grade results A*-E on at least 3 different subjects + transcript

IB Diploma

  • International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or;
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma or;
  • IB Diploma Course Results (IBCR) 
  • With not less than grade 3 on at least 5 different subjects

Note: Applicants must have completed or presently be enrolled in their final year of high school, or its equivalent levels according to the condition set by Chulalongkorn University.

Mathematics Proficiency Tests

Applicants can submit more than one test result:

  • SAT (Math) at least 600 or 
  • SAT (Math Level 2) at least 570 or
  • IB Diploma HL Math at least 5 or
  • ACT Math at least 20 or
  • A-Level Math at least Grade B or
  • China Gaokao Math at least 70

English Proficiency Tests

Applicants can submit more than one test result:

  • TOEFL (Paper-based) at least 550 or
  • TOEFL (Internet-based) at least 80 or
  • IELTS at least 6.5 or
  • SAT (Evidence-Based 
  • Reading & Writing) at least 500 or
  • CU-TEP (Chulalongkorn University Test of English Proficiency) at least 100 or
  • China Gaokao English at least 110

Portfoilio

Applicants must submit E-Portfolio, which consists of a collection of the applicants’ work as well as activities. The purpose of the portfolio is to demonstrate the applicants’  versatility, breadth of experiences, engagements, achievements, and organizational skills. The portfolio should include original works (joint work e.g., with co-authors etc. should be acknowledged).

Portfolio can include:

  • Academic or Research projects
  • Awards and competitions / Honors
  • Science/ Arts/ Design projects: Projects could range from prototypes and scientific initiatives to drawings, paintings, collage, photography, sculptures, models, or sketchbook pages
  • Business, marketing, branding, sales, or fundraising
  • Any forms of digital media, animation, film, VDOs, and audios created. Online platforms e.g. YouTube, Instagram, blogs are acceptable 
  • Internships or past work experiences
  • International experiences: Exchange programs, internships, international workshops, and camps
  • Social or Community works and activities 
  • Extracurricular activities: Events/special activities, such as sports, music, theatre, performing arts, and visual arts. 
  • Continuing education, short courses or certificate courses
  • Originality and creativity are highly valued
