Requirement for Applicants

All applicants must meet the criteria or applicants must completed/ be completing the following academic requirement

Track A: For applicants with IB Diploma or AP

  • The International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) score equaling to or above 35 according to the International Baccalaureate Organization system OR 
  • The Advanced Placement Program (AP) rank equaling toor above 78 according toThe College Board
  • Applicants who apply with AP have to submit SAT scores (Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing). 
  • The submitted SAT score can be combined only from the test taken on the same date and must be from the test taken less than 2 years to the submission date. 

Track B: For any other curriculum, applicants must attain a minimum score both in English Proficiency Test and Academic Test:

1.  Applicants must submit score from one of the following English test: 

  • TOEFL (Internet-based) not lower than 88 OR 
  • IELTS not lower than 6.5 OR 
  • CU-TEP (Chulalongkorn University Test of English Proficiency) not lower than 104 



2.  Applicants must submit score from one of the following test: 

  • CU-AAT (Academic Aptitude Test of Chulalongkorn University) by achieving the total score from Verbal Section and Math Section not lower than 1030 OR 
  • New SAT by achieving the total score from Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing not lower than 1100 
  • For CU-AAT (Verbal Section and Math section) or SAT (Math and Evidence -Based Reading and Writing) the results must be the score from the test taken on the same date 
  • The score must be from the test taken less than 2 years to the submission date
