TCAS Round 1 (Portfolio)
To be eligible for freshman admissions, an applicant must graduate from or is studying in Mathayom Suksa 6 Secondary Education of Thailand (M.6) or its equivalent under following conditions:
- Graduated from or studying in Mathayom Suksa 6 (M.6) in Thai system school or equivalent, or
- Grade 12 in American Education System or
- Year 13 in British System
- Applicants who are high school graduates must have a cumulative grade point average of M.4 to M.6, total of 6 semesters, greater than or equal to 3.50
- Applicants who are current students in M.6 must have a current cumulative grade point average from M.4 to current date, greater than or equal to 3.50
- For international school students, applicant must have a cumulative grade point average during Grade 10-11 or Year 11-12, greater than or equal to 3.50
Applicants must submit one of the following English proficiency test scores
- TOEFL (Internet-based) 100 or higher
- IELTS (Academic) 7.0 or higher
- CU-Tep and Speaking 100 or higher (with the same examination date)
Applicants must submit BMAT test scores
The scores are considered as followings:
- Section 1 Aptitude and Skills 40%
- Section 2 Scientific Knowledge and Application 40%
- Section 3 Writing Task 20%
Applicants must hold a portfolio and must pass Chulalongkorn University’s health requirement
Portfoilio
- a maximum of 10 A4 pages, written in Thai or English
- contents including self-introduction, past activities and awards during the past 5 years
- research project and volunteer project
- written in Angsana New, size 16, single space
