TCAS Round 1 (Portfolio)

To be eligible for freshman admissions for MED CU, an applicant must graduate from or is studying in Mathayom Suksa 6 Secondary Education of Thailand (M.6) or its equivalent under following conditions:

  • Graduated from or studying in Mathayom Suksa 6 (M.6) in Thai system school or equivalent, or
  • Grade 12 in American Education System or
  • Year 13 in British System
  • Applicants who are high school graduates must have a cumulative grade point average of M.4 to M.6, total of 6 semesters, greater than or equal to 3.50
  • Applicants who are current students in M.6 must have a current cumulative grade point average from M.4 to current date, greater than or equal to 3.50
  • For international school students, applicant must have a cumulative grade point average during Grade 10-11 or Year 11-12, greater than or equal to 3.50

Applicants must submit one of the following English proficiency test scores

  • TOEFL (Internet-based) 100 or higher
  • IELTS (Academic) 7.0 or higher
  • CU-Tep and Speaking 100 or higher (with the same examination date)

Applicants must submit BMAT test scores

The scores are considered as followings:

  • Section 1 Aptitude and Skills 40%
  • Section 2 Scientific Knowledge and Application 40%
  • Section 3 Writing Task 20%

Applicants must hold a portfolio and must pass Chulalongkorn University’s health requirement

Portfoilio

  • A maximum of 10 A4 pages, written in Thai or English
  • Contents including self-introduction, past activities and awards during the past 5 years
  • Research project and volunteer project
  • Written in Angsana New, size 16, single space
