TCAS Round 1 (Portfolio)
To be eligible for freshman admissions for DENT CU, an applicant must graduate from or is studying in Mathayom Suksa 6 Secondary Education of Thailand (M.6) or its equivalent under following conditions:
- Graduated from or studying in Mathayom Suksa 6 (M.6) in Thai system school or equivalent, or
- Grade 12 in American Education System or
- Year 13 in British System
- Applicants who are high school graduates must have a cumulative grade point average of M.4 to M.6, total of 6 semesters, greater than or equal to 3.75
- Applicants who are current students in M.6 must have a current cumulative grade point average from M.4 to current date, greater than or equal to 3.75
Applicants must submit one of the following English proficiency test scores
- TOEFL (Internet-based) 100 or higher
- IELTS (Academic) 7.0 or higher
- CU-Tep and Speaking 100 or higher (with the same examination date)
Applicants must submit one of the following standardized test scores
- SAT II Subject Test
- Biology 700 or higher
- Chemistry 700 or higher
- Physics or Mathematics 700 or higher
- GCE A Level
- Biology Grade B or higher
- Chemistry Grade B or higher
- Physics or Mathematics Grade B or higher
Applicants must hold a portfolio and must pass Chulalongkorn University’s health requirement
Portfoilio
- A maximum of 10 A4 pages, written in English
- Cover applicant’s personal detail and image
- 1 page of brief self-introduction
- A maximum of 4 A4 pages of award, academic prize
- A maximum of 4 A4 pages of volunteer project and extracurricular activities
- 1 page of reflective writing including 4 topics (moral & ethics, teamwork, self-adaptation, lifelong learning skill)
