Academics

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must currently enroll in their final year of high school –Mathayom 6 or its equivalent levels according to terms and conditions set by Chulalongkorn University.

British System

  • International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), or General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE), or General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O Level), with grade results A*-C on 5 different subjects + transcript.

  • And General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A Level) with grade results A*-E on at least 3 different subjects + transcript

American System

  • General Educational Development (GED) Credentialobtained before May 2017 with minimum total score 2250 on all 5 subjects and at least 410 points on each subject, or

  • General Educational Development (GED) Credential obtained between May 2017 to July 2020 with minimum score 145 on all 4 subjects

  • General Educational Development (GED) Credential obtained from August 2020 with minimum total score 660 on all 4 subjects

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)

  • International Baccalaureate Diploma, or
  • IB Diploma Course Results (IBCR) with not less than grade 3 on at least 5 different subjects

Standardized Test Scores

Applicants must have achieved a minimum score in any one of the following proficiency tests. (All tests must have been taken less than two (2) years prior to the application date.)

  • CU-AAT – Verbal 400 or higher, and when combined with Math 900 or higher
  • SAT – Evidence-based Reading and Writing 450 or higher and when combined with Math 980 or higher

Initially, applicants will be evaluated based on the following test scores:

  • CU-AAT (Verbal Section) or New SAT (Evidence-based Reading and Writing):  Average Score 65%
  • CU-AAT (Math Section) or New SAT (Math): Average Score 35%

Interview

After the interview test, applicants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Scores from the academic aptitude test (no. 3 above): Proportion 60%
  • Scores from the interview: Proportion 40%
