AS and/or A Level

  •       A*A*A
  •       A*  in A Level Mathematics and/ or Physics
  •       A*  in A Level Further Mathematics 
  •       A  in one other A Level in Year 13
  •       (Critical Thinking isn't considered an acceptable third A Level subject)

International Baccalaureate (IB)

  •       Standard subjects: scores between 40 and 42 points 
  •       776 in Higher Level subjects
  •       Engineer program requires IB Higher Level 'Analysis and Approaches'

Pre-interview written assessment

  • Section 1: Mathematics and Physics multiple-choice questions. (no calculator)

    Section 2: Advanced Physics multiple-choice questions. (no calculator)

Engineering Admission Assessment

Section 1

  •       60 Minutes
  •       40 Questions

Section 2

  •       60 Minutes
  •       20 independent multiple choice questions 
  •       Marking solely on answer based on multiple choice answer sheet
  •       Calculator is not permitted



English Language Requirements

IELTS

  •       Standard:  6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in all elements)
  •       Higher: 7.0 overall (minimum 6.5 in all elements)
  •       IELTS score must be valid for 2 years

 

TOEFL iBT

·        a minimum overall score of 110, with 25 or above in each element

Personal statement

  • A paper indicating why are you interested in the course
  • May include details of any skills, interests and attributes that you think you have that demonstrate for aptitude and motivation in the course

Statement from the school’s headmaster of the student’s nature of study/ predicted Grades
