A Levels

• Grades: A*AA
• Subjects: Mathematics grade A* required, plus grade A inEconomics if offered.
• We do not recognise General Studies and Critical Thinking for admissions purposes.

• Subjects: English Language and Mathematics at grade C or 5.

Contextual offer

A-Level Grade: A*AB

Subjects: Mathematics grade A* required, plus grade A inEconomics if offered.

GCSEs: English Language and Mathematics at grade C or 5.

IB Diploma

• Points: 39
• Subjects:A total of 19 points in three higher level subjects including grade 7 in Mathematics and grade 6 in Economics if offered with no score lower than 5. 
• The programme will accept either 'Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches' or 'Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation' at higher level.

Contextual offer

• IB Points: 38
• Subjects: A Score 18 in three higher level subjects including 7 in Mathematics and 6 in Economics if offered with no score lower than 5. 
• The programme will accept either 'Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches' or 'Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation' at higher level.

If your first language is not English you must be able to provide recent evidence that your spoken and written command of the English language is adequate for the programmes for which you have applied.

• GCSE/IGCSE English language: Pass at 5 (or grade C)

• Pearson Edexcel: Edexcel IGCSE English Language A (4EA1)/ Edexcel IGCSE English Language B (4EB1)/ Edexcel IGCSE English as a Second Language  (4ES1)
• Cambridge Assessment International Education: Cambridge IGCSE English - First Language (0500) or (0990)/ Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language (Speaking endorsement) (0510) or (0993)/Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language (Count-in speaking) (0511) or (0991)
• Oxford International AQA Examinations: Oxford AQA IGCSE English Language (9270)/Oxford AQA IGCSE English as a Second Language (9280)

• IELTS Academic: Overall grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subtests.

• TOEFL: Score of 100 overall with 24/30 in reading and writing and 20/30 in speaking and listening

• IB English Language B: grade 4 at either higher level or grade 5 at standard level
• PTE (Academic): 69 overall, with a minimum of 62 in each component

• How you are a good fit for your chosen programme
• What you will bring to the university community

If possible, they should be someone who knows you academically and can talk about your work ethic, interaction with other students and your suitability for higher education or a future career.
