Qualification of Applicants

  • Must have completed or presently be enrolled in their final year of highschool, or the equivalent. 
  • Transcript of high school or the equivalent with a minimum GPAX of 2.75

British System

  • General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A Level) with grade results A*-E on at least 3 different subjects or  Cambridge Pre-U with grade result M1 or D1-D3 on at least 3 different subjects 
  • and IGCSE/GCSE/GCE ‘O’ Level with grade results A*-C on at least 5 different subjects

GED

  • minimum 145 scores on at least 4 subject (no total score specified) 

International Baccalaureate

  • Six subjects with a combination of standard and high levels (SL and HL) and complete the core courses, including extended essay (EE), theory of knowledge (TOK), and creativity, action and service (CAS)
  •  Obtained IB Diploma with at least 24 points
  • IB Diploma Course Results (IBCR): Passed at least 5 subjects at standard and high levels (SL and HL) with grade 3 or higher

English Language Requirement

Applicants must submit one of the following English proficiency test scores:  

  • IELTS with a minimum band of 6.0 or  
  • TOEFL (Internet Based) with a minimum score of 79 or  
  • CU-TEP with a minimum score of 79 or  
  • CU-AAT (Verbal) with a minimum score of 400 or 
  • SAT (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) with a minimum score of 450

Mathematics Proficiency Test Score

Applicants must submit one of the following Mathematics test scores:  

  • CU-AAT (Math) with a minimum score of 600 or  
  • SAT (Math) with a minimum score of 650 or  
  • SAT Subject (Math Level II) with a minimum score of 650 or  
  • IB (Math HL) with a minimum score of 6 or  
  • A-Level (Math) with a minimum grade of B

Remark: Applicants who wish to apply by using CU-AAT (Verbal) and CU-AAT (Math) or SAT (EvidenceBased Reading & Writing) and SAT (Math) must submit the scores of both parts from the same test occasion. 

The official score report of the tests is valid only if the tests were taken no more than two years prior to the application deadline.

Interview

Selection Criteria Eligible applicants will be evaluated on the basis of all three requirements and the interview scores. The weights assigned are as follows:

  • English proficiency test scores 35 %
  • Mathematics test scores 35 %
  • Interview 30 %
